Sunday I went to a Pumpkin Patch festival with my family down near Yucaipa. It was really fun and I can't wait to have kids so I can take them there. It had a huge field full of pumpkins that you cut from the vine. I wanted a big pumpkin this year and as you can see I got one and 2 baby pumpkins lol. I forgot my camera lol so I don't have any pictures from the festival, but I took one this morning so you can see how big it is. The festival had 2 petting zoos, pony rides, hay stack ride, quad rides, and 2 bouncers. There were so many kids and babies it really makes me want one! lol After the pumpkin patch we went to the Apple Festival about 20 min down the street. That was really fun also, but we never got to the part to pick apples off a tree. They had a lot of stores and places to eat, so after trying to look for the trees to pick apples off we ate some country BBQ food and we had enough of the whole apple picking thing so we came home. :) Every time I go downstairs I hug my pumpkin lol because it feels so good for some reason. It's exactly my arms length when I wrap around it. I love my pumpkin!

Too Early for New Years Resolution?

I have been a member of Snap Fitness for about 6 months. I have an on and off relationship with my gym, but this last Monday I decided to go back for good. I have lots and lots of time on my hands and I realized it is time to get into shape! Monday night I went and started out on the treadmill. I have an ipod, so I set it on shuffle and set the clock for 40 min while I was watching TBS on the TV. At the end of my 40 min I burned just a little over 200 calories. It felt great! I went Tuesday skipped Wednesday and went again today. After Tuesday my legs felt sore so I let them rest for a day. I decided to go Monday thru Friday for 40 min and if I have to miss a day that's ok. Today I set the speed a little higher and I burned 310 calories after 40 min. I feel really good and I seem to have more energy. The only bad thing about working out it that its really boring, so I'm just going to stay positive and try my hardest to keep going. I don't care to lose weight, I just want to get toned and be healthy. Hopefully it works out!

Don't give up HOPE
Last Friday, Oct. 3rd, my 15 year old cousin was involved in a hit-n-run. Within minutes after her mom dropped both her and her younger sister Angelique off on a corner across from a High School football game, Arianna was hit. She didn't break anything, but her skull was greatly swollen and has gone through a couple of surgeries to alleviate the pressure. The doctor took out a blood clot the size of a golf ball and has now found something wrong with her heart. Although she has opened her eyes, she is still at risk in every possible way. Please pray for her!

Ducks VS Kings
On Tuesday our old friend John, from BBB, called us up and asked if we wanted to go to a Hockey game because he had an extra ticket and we could get another and have a good time. We said sure, why not. Matthew and I have been together for...... well........ 6 years now, and we have not enjoyed each others company at a Hockey game. It was Ducks vs Kings, which is funny cause the last time I went to a Hockey game about 10 years ago it was Ducks vs Kings and it went into overtime so we left cause me and my brother were tired. Even though its pre-season it was a good game. Within about 5 min. that the game started there was a fight haha I forgot how much fun those were to watch. All in all there were about 2-3 fights. It was 1 to 1 for a while but in the 2ND period, somehow the Kings were able to get lucky with a shot so it became 2 to 1. Finally in the 3rd period the Ducks scored and the game ended with a tie 2 to 2. Here I was 10 years later with a tied game. The only difference was that I am now 22 and not tired. The clock showed 5 min for the overtime period. Then, with only 1 min and 30 seconds left the Ducks scored and won the game 3 to 2. Personally, I like both the Kings and the Ducks, but since the Ducks are our home team I was on their side. Have you ever done something a long time ago and many years later your doing it and you say to yourself, who would have thought.............. Well after the game that popped into my head. Who would have thought 10 years later I'd be coming back to Ducks vs Kings game at 22 with my Husband who is also my bestest friend and with our other friends that we didn't even know back then. We didn't even know each other existed. I don't know....... I think about that sometimes. Another funny thing happened at the game. My cousin Phillip, that I went to Vegas for this last weekend, called me in the 2nd period and asked where I was. I told him that I was at a Hockey game and he said, yeah me too. Lol I was like what! He told me where he was sitting and he was on the lower level in a suite that his friends uncle had. He was 2 levels lower than I, and we both were on opposite ends of the goal. At half time he walked up and we hugged and said long time no see. Lol it was crazy we had both went to the game that night. I asked how he knew I was there and he said he saw on Myspace that I wrote I was going to a Hockey game, and that he called me as soon as he got there. Him and his friend were out at dinner and his friend called his uncle and he said I have to ticket to the game tonight so they popped on over. It was a good surprise. Oh if anyone ever goes to Hockey game always eat before you get there. Our food, no joke, was $30 for 2 burgers and 2 fries and 2 drinks at Carls Jr. yeah it was crazy expensive. We didn't have time to eat and we didn't think it would be that bad, but now we know! Oh and parking was only $5 it was a good deal. We parked across the street from the Honda Center, you half to walk but its not a bad walk. Last night was a lot of fun!
Two girls raced each other after the 1st period up and down the ice rink in these balls. It was funny. They looked like hamsters. Those girls in black pants were the ice shoveler's. After every so many min. it would be a time out and the girls would collect the excess ice on the rink for the hockey players.
That's me and Will we sat in his season seats that were higher than our friend Johns seats. In the other pic its my cousins friend Reed. He is standing in his precious suite. They invited us down there, but we didn't want to be rude to our friends. Any seat in the Honda center is good in Matt's and my opinion.

Nana Girl 1995-2008
Today was one, among many, the worst day ever. :( My oldest dog Nana was born in 1995 and has not been doing so well the last couple of days, so this morning we had to put her down. Just thinking about it makes me tear up. She was an amazing dog! She was very playful, loving, and a great snuggler. She was an awesome mother to her puppies. She loved everyone! She would make so many friends everywhere she went. A couple of her favorite things to do were to play tug-of-war with socks, and feel the nice breeze out the drivers window. She really loved that! :( I'm really going to miss the way she would bark when someone gets home so she can get her treat. She is only a memory now. A memory that would lay out in the sunlight on the warm cement with the other puppies. A memory that I will hold in my heart forever. I love you Nana Girl!

Recital Graphic

My Photoshop class got canceled and I decided to keep the book so I can teach myself how to create graphics. This is my first one I did from scratch. It's not impressive and it's just a copy out of the book to help me learn, but hopefully soon I will be able to create my own graphics and get better. I really like Photoshop! It's so crazy how many different tools you can use to create so many things.

Exhuasting Weekend
This weekend was a very exhausting weekend. On Friday, Matthew and I drove to San Diego after he got out of work, so we didn't even get there until 8:15. The reason why we drove out there was to download Adobe Creative Suite Premium CS3 that will help me out very much with my computer classes for Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Flash. Now all of my teachers are using CS3 software and Office 2007. I do not like being at school when I don't have to be in class and to go and sit in the Lab just because they use the newest software just sucks. I want to just go home after class and work on my projects at my own convenience. We didn't leave San Diego until 10:30 and the stuff didn't download all the way so we brought it with us and we didn't get home until a little after midnight. As soon as we got home we kicked off our shoes and went to bed. On Saturday I was going to drive up to Palm Springs to surprise my mother for her Birthday weekend, even though her Birthday is really on Monday. I got up at around 7:30 and left the house by about 8:20. Matthew had to work so he didn't go with me. It was our first time apart since we've been married. I drove the hour and half there and it was a nice drive. It was nice to sing along with music and soak up the solitude I had with myself. It's very relaxing. I got to Palm Springs at 10:00 and it was 113 degrees. The second I got out of my car I was sweating. Thank goodness the rooms had air conditioners. My mom, dad and there two friends Bud and Carol were there in the pool when I got there. It was a weekend with the adults and it was fun, but I hate it when you always see couples everywhere you go. This was that kind of time. I was the odd man out and couples were everywhere. It made me feel good to look down at my ring and know that I have someone who loves me for me. It was a re-assurance that I had someone waiting for me at home. The day was fun. We went to a casino Agua Caliente and gambled a little bit and lost. Then we went back to the El Rancho Lodge and relaxed out by the pool. Later we got ready and went out to eat some mexican food, listened to music outside the Hyatt Hotel and kicked back until the singer was gone. We got back to our Lodge and went to bed at 11:30. Sunday I woke up at 6:15 and left Palm Springs at 6:30 and I was home by 8. It was a nice morning. The sun was just coming out and the sky was beautiful. Had I not been driving I would have taken a picture. I got home and since Matthew was home, Precious was sleeping with him all night. We have an air conditioner in our room and it's hard to hear, so I walked in the house and into my room and they were both still sleeping. I turned of the air and then Matthew got scared at first and Precious wiggled out of the blankets to greet me. It was nice to see his face again. I took nap today and yet I'm still very exhausted. It was a fun weekend.
