Puppy Teeth

I never knew puppies can lose their teeth like humans do! I have grown up with dogs all my life and I never knew this until we got our puppy Roxy. On the first of July Matthew got up from the couch and stepped on something sharp he looked down and it was one of Roxy's teeth. We got a little nervous so we called the vet and she laughed in a nice way and said that puppies do lose their teeth. At first we thought that maybe her bones that she chews on were really hard and so that is why it fell out. Thank goodness that wasn't the case. Then last night Matthew sat on the couch and felt something sharp and saw that she lost her other tooth. :) I saved them in a bag and wrote on the bag the dates we found them.

We call this our Bungalow because its a way Matthew and I can still cuddle while watching TV together. :)

Growing Up So Fast

Surprise Surprise!

Today I went to the Brea Mall with Roxy and my mother. I wanted to get a puppy purse for Roxy so when we walked into the mall I went to the Directory to look up a pet store. I saw they had a Barkworks and I thought it was funny cause that's the same pet store I got Roxy, except I got her at the Riverside Mall. When I walked in I found the purse that I wanted and when I brought it up to the register the lady asked what kind of dog Roxy was. I told her she was a rat terrier/blue heeler mix. The lady said, I have her brother here. She took me to see him and I thought she meant brother as in same kind of mix but it really was Roxy's brother! He had the same birthday and was brought in the same day Roxy was taken to the Riverside Mall. What a small world! :) Roxy got to see her brother again! I wanted to take a picture with my phone so the lady took him out so I could get a better pic! :) He is so cute, and now I see that Roxy has the rat terrier look unlike her brother.

I would like to introduce you to Roxy Johnson. She is 8 weeks old and she is our little baby girl! We thought Roxy was a good name for her. She is very friendly and loves to play!
