I just got off the phone with my parents and they said that the doctor called and said that Precious has feeling in both of her legs and she get's to come home tomorrow! I couldn't be happier! I love her so much and I can't wait to see her! :)

I love you Precious Girl!

Christmas Eve Precious started wheezing and limping so my parents took her to the emergency really early in the morning. The doctor took ex rays, listened to her heart and they couldn't see or hear that anything was wrong with her. So they gave her a shot for the pain thinking maybe she just hurt something and the shot and other medication will help her. Later that day all of the sudden she lost the ability to use her back legs, so my parents called the doctor and he said it could be that she is in so much pain that she doesn't want to use them. The rest of the day she was way out of it from the medication and she seemed like she was in lots of pain when she tried to scoot her body. Christmas day rolled around and she hadn't gone potty since before all of this stuff started to happen. Throughout that day my parents and I checked up on her to make sure she was alright. I checked her bed and it felt wet because she still wasn't able to walk. Her legs looked at if they were paralyzed. She would just scoot on her butt if she wanted to go anywhere and so I knew something wasn't right, but since I'm not a doctor, who was I to say that it wasn't. I just knew I had a bad feeling. Later Christmas day I went in and I gave her some water and I held her over her pee pad to see if she would go, so I scratched her back leg and all of the sudden she started to go but there was blood in it. Not alot but I knew that wasn't right. I told my parents and they called the emergency and they said it could be the medication and since she hadn't gone in so long there could be blood. I still knew deep in my heart that something wasn't right. Precious is a fighter and I knew that if she was going to walk it would have happened already. The day after Christmas at around 5:40 I woke up because something was bothering me. I didn't know why I couldn't sleep I just knew I had to do something instead of just laying down so I went on the computer. At around 6:30 my mother called me up from the animal emergency crying while explaining to me what was going on. At first I though what anyone would think, that oh my gosh don't tell me Precious is gone! She said that Precious woke up and seemed like she had to go potty and when my dad took her to her puppy pad she went but it was all dark blood the size of a football. Once they got to the emergency the doctor felt her spine and notice that when he felt the middle Precious snapped at him. SHE NEVER DOES THAT! Then when he reached the top of her spine he went back down and she snapped again in the same spot. He said that her disc in her spine must have ruptured and that is the reason why she doesn't have feeling in her legs. He said he needed to operate on her and even then she would have a 50 50 chance of being paralyzed on her back legs. My parents did not want to put her down so they said do it. They knew that she only has a 50 50 chance of ever walking again but whatever happens they will work through it. I got to my parents house around 7:45 and I found out that Precious was going to be in surgery for 3 hours. At around 11am the doctor called and said everything went great! He said that he found the ruptured disc and that he got all of it out of her, so now it wasn't pinching her nerves. He still doesn't know her walking condition but he said that he gave her the maximum chance to walk again and it was all up to her now. He told my dad that he would call this morning to let us know how she did throughout the night. I prayed so hard for my little puppy. I know I would love her just they same if not more if she was disabled but I just didn't want her to suffer. It's been a stressful couple of days. So the doctor called this morning and said that Precious is already showing signs of feeling in her right LEG!!!!!! When he pinches her toes she moves her leg!!!! We were thrilled!!!!! SHE IS A FIGHTER!!! She is still healing and the the left leg is still the same but the doctor is hopeful that it will come around. She kinda walked on three legs from her other surgery a couple years back when her knee came out of the socket so if its only three legs that work then she won't let it stop her haha. I won't be here Monday but my parents will send me pictures when they get her back!!! Thank goodness I'm not working cause now I get to take care of her while my parents are working. I love you Girl! Please pray for her recovery!!!

I Just Had To! :)

Okay! I was looking for pictures to put on my previous entry and I decided not to because they didn't relate to the entry so I thought I'd make this a whatever entry that still relates to Christmas and put whatever pictures up. Hope you like!

This one is scary but I like it! Kayli is funny!

Road Trip!

Okay! It looks like we will be going up to Utah on Sunday! :) We will be staying in Vegas at this Hotel called Sam's Town. I stayed there a lot when I was little and I really liked it because it has waterfalls and a fake mountain in the middle of the hotel. At the top of the mountain there is a cave with a fake wolf standing outside of it. It's really cool. Every now and then the wolf will howl. Early Monday we will be leaving Vegas and in Utah by 10am at the latest. It all depends on what time we want to get up. It's exciting to think about going up there. Even though its not during Christmas it will still be lots of fun to see everyone and Utah! I haven't been up there in at least a couple of years! I love taking trips outside of my bubble! This will be our first real road trip where we call the shots! I guess we did drive to Yosemite pretty much by ourselves because halfway toward Yosemite we had to get on an airplane to fly to Washington for Matthew's brothers wedding and once we got back to CA we were on our own, but only for like 4 hours. So yeah, we're excited!

CHRISTMAS time is here!

I can feel that this week and possibly next week is going to be a very exciting week! This week is what I call Christmas week. Everyone is out of school for the Holiday and for the people who work, well they get Wed. and Thurs. off too. I'm going to my parents today because my mom bought us some milk on sat. and I forgot to take it home. Plus I'm going over there to see the dogs, my kitty, and my parents. I can't believe it's been a almost a whole year already. This year really went by super fast for me. I remember celebrating last Christmas like is was yesterday when my family and I were making gingerbread houses and my other family and I were at my grandpas house decorating the tree. 2009 is going to be a great year! Things will be changing, people will be graduating, including ME! Can you say FINALLY!!!!!!! 2008 has been a great year for me and my husband. We moved out into our own place! As much as I hate to see 2008 go, 2009 will bring on more birthdays, and more anniversary's, and maybe some exciting news! Next year will be 7 years that Matthew and I have been dating. I cannot believe it's been so long. I was 16 when we started dating and I will be 23 next April. He was 17 when we met, but 18 when we started dating and he will be 25 in June. People always tell us you're too young to get married and to even start wanting kids, but really when you think about it people usually get married after 2 years of dating and for us it was like 4 years. Then after a few years people want to start having kids, but because we met so early on it just seems like we got married young and want kids early, but really based on our relationship its perfect timing. Sorry I don't mean to complain, but it gets a little annoying, especially when the person who is telling you this has never experienced love before. Anyways, I'm happy for all the great people I have in my life. I'm really lucky! For me Christmas isn't about the gifts, but it's about spending that special holiday with the people you love. Unfortunately half of my family is in Utah, but hopefully we will be making a trip to go up!

Jacuzzi In the Rain!

These past 3 days have been awesome! My husband usually has Monday and Wednesday off but this week he got a free paid day so he took Tuesday off as well. It has been a nice change. Now that school is over we can hang out a lot more and I'm very excited! It's been very rainy here the past three days and it has also been great! What can be better than spending time at home cuddling with the one you love? Well, nothing!! But I will tell you what made it even better. Monday we woke up and had breakfast while we watched more episodes of our new drama series, Dexter. We love watching Dexter! It's is our all time favorite show! Matthew really wants to be and think like Dexter. :) Around 10 am we left home to go see the first showing of twilight. It was raining super hard so it was the perfect day for a movie. After the movie, which was pretty good and funny in a way, we walked around and went into other stores and Target to get some shopping done. It was a perfect rainy day! It felt so right to be hanging out and we had so many of those moments where your eyes meet. It was romantic in a way. We came home and snuggled up and watched more Dexter. Tuesday, Matthew and I called Grandma Johnson to ask her for her recipe for her toffee. We then went out and bought the supplies and made it! Well..... kinda haha :) We know how to make it and it comes out tasting great, but its hard to get it to come out in one piece, but it's ok we will perfect it. After our attempt to make toffee we finally finished all of Dexter! Now we have to wait till next year when season 4 airs. :( Today was another great day. After breakfast we went to Barnes and Noble to look at books then we went to Red Lobster to use our gift card we got from Matthew's complex he works for. It was great meal. I actually ordered Salmon for the first time ever and it was fantastic! Matthew ordered crab legs and since I'm a beginner with eating seafood I smelt the crab legs and that was enough for me. For dessert we ordered a warm cookie that had a chocolate filling in the center with ice cream on top. It was so good! All day it has been raining and on the way home Matthew and I were kinda cold, so I mentioned the jacuzzi and he said why not. As soon as we got home we change into our bathing suits, we put our jackets on and flip flops and we went. It was awesome! We were so frozen by the time we got there that we practically hopped into the jacuzzi without a care in the world of how hot it was. Here it is raining and we were the only one's in the jacuzzi haha. :) It was fantastic! We can't wait to do it again! He goes back to work tomorrow but that ok cause I get him next Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday yay! I just love him! Happy Holidays! :)

Go out with a BANG!

December 11, 2008 is going in my book of One of the Best Day's Ever! To start the day off, it was my daddy's 47th Birthday. Yes, I still call him daddy. We didn't celebrate it yesterday because I had my last final last night, so we celebrated it on Wednesday night. It was a lot of fun. Every year around Christmas my dad goes all out and decorates his game room. There are Christmas lights, Santa Clause's, and fake snow everywhere! I will take pictures today. Matthew and I helped decorate the tree on Monday but by wed. he did a lot. Anyways, we had a party for him and his friends came over and most of my family came over. We ordered some mexican food and when we found out more people were coming the Birthday Boy had to make more taquitos, but it's ok cause he loves to cook. When parties are at his house he is a terrific host! He makes sure everyone is comfortable, he offers a drink or appetizers or anything. My Gram taught him well! For his Birthday I got him a Harley Davidson shirt cause you can never go wrong with anything HD. It said Sheriff on the front with an Eagle and since my brudder is a sheriff I thought he would like to wear it. I'm getting my brudder one for his 26th birthday next year. eBay has great things! He also got a John Wayne picture frame and a big picture of John Wayne on a horse, that is another thing you can never go wrong with he loves "The Duke." It was a good Birthday! Now, not only did the title of this blog mean to go out with a Bang for my father's birthday, but as I said before last night was my last final night and I got an A in the class! I took 5 classes this semester, PowerPoint 190 and 191, Art, Desktop Publisher, and Dreamweaver with Flash. My grades have never been better A,A,B,A,A and this was my last full semester of school. Technically I graduated this semester because you can graduate 6 units shy from 60 but I'm still 3 units shy, so I'm taking Anthropology next semester and walking next June for my AA. Finally I'm done with school! Well, for now anyways. If I ever did decide to go back it would be an Art school for Media design. Now I can read the last 2 books of the Twilight Series and relax relax relax. Next week Matthew gets Mon. Tues Wed. off so we are going to go see Twilight and maybe Step Brother cause it looks really funny. My brudder said he really liked it. I love my brudder! Even though we are different in some ways it's still the perfect brother sister relationship I could have ever hoped for. Not to mention that now that I have moved out of my parents house, my relationship with my mother is so much better and I mean like 360 degree turn around. It's funny cause between my parents and I we say I love you more than we ever did. I can't wait for the New year and what it will bring to my life. It better not be death cause I've had a lot in the past 10 years. I'm hoping for a niece or nephew or being so lucky to have one of my own. Now that I've moved out and will be graduating college, those are 2 goals that can and will be checked off. Sorry for writing so much but I guess it's been a while since a real post so I had a lot to say. :) Till next time, Happy Holidays!

It's been a year since My Gram has been gone and I really miss her. In a few minutes I will be leaving to go to a little family get together at the cemetery. It's funny cause ever since 1998 death and cancer has been in my family up until last year. Finally my family is healthy but I miss my grandparents so much. Thankfully I still have my grandpa Joe. He is a great grandpa and up until he lost his wife last year (my gram) I've never seen him cry. Now he is very emotional with all of us and I really like seeing that side of him. Rest in Peace Gram. I love you very much!

Home Sweet Home!

This is our new place in Corona! We don't have our mirror or our dining table, but it should both be here early next week. We got the mirror and the dining table at the swap meet so we have to wait for them to deliver it. Our complex has a pool, spa, tennis courts, volleyball court, an indoor racquetball court, and BBQ grills around the community. It's a great area. Up the street we have a nice park with a playground. Also we have about 7 churches literally right around the corner and the first one you see is that LDS Church. We thought that was funny. If ever we decide to go some day we can walk there. I met our neighbors first when my dad and I brought my big furniture. I told Matt that they were voo doo, smelly, old people with 3 kids that live in the living room and make noise like crazy HAHA. He spent the rest of the day worrying about what to do about them. He almost wanted to move to another unit, that is how much anxiety he had about it. Eventually, later that night I told him the truth and m dad and I were cracking up. He was so happy that I was kidding! :) A couple nights after we first moved in we went out to stock up on groceries. Right down the street we have a Stater Bros. and a Rite Aid. We first went into Rite Aid cause I needed some Rubbing Alcohol for my belly ring cause it got a little red from moving boxes. I guess the boxes and furniture rubbed against my stomach. Anyways, so Matthew put on his sweats, put his glasses on, T shirt and sandals then we left. Guess who we ran into in Rite Aid? Our neighbors. After Matthew met them he asked how he looked and I said, "well you're in your sweats and glasses, so you could have looked better." :) It was funny. So far, It's been a great experience. It can get kinda lonely since Matthew works all the time and I don't have an animal to play with, but maybe very soon the New Year will bring some good news. ;)

Rachael Ray Day!

I was watching tv and remembered that Rachael Ray was on so I turned to the channel to watch the last 20 minutes. Today was a very special one! Rachael Ray cooked for 40 brides on their on their wedding day that she hosted for all of them and their families. I wish I was there! :) It was really nice to see the bride and groom's families enjoying themselves all thanks to Rachael. I love her! She is such a great person, always in a happy mood, and I love the things she cooks. Even if I really don't like a certain food, Rachael makes it look so delicious that I would eat it just because she made it. Some day I would like to go see her show in person. That's on my things to do. All the brides said it was way better than anything they ever imagined. It was with Rachael Ray so yeah it would be for me too! :) To top the evening off there were beautiful fireworks exploding in the star filled sky! :) How romantic! Oh by the way, since her show was over I flipped the channel to The View and guess who was on it with the regulars????? RACHAEL RAY! :) It's been a perfect morning so far! :) She is teaching The View girls her recipes out of her Big Orange Book. It looks delicious! :) She is showing how to make easy appetizers for parties. She is showing one of my favorites, deviled eggs! I see that she cuts her eggs the opposite of how you usually cut them for deviled eggs. She cuts in between the top and bottom instead of lengthwise, if that makes any sense. :) Ok, I'm going to go watch it now. :)

Things I Did and Things To Do

It's been a while since I have written anything but now I finally have some downtime to write about what's been going on in my life. First off we moved out to Corona! :) So far the apartment looks great and I can't wait for the Johnson family to see it. I will be taking pictures this week and posting them up. The only things we don't have yet it our dining table and our mirror that will go in the dining room. Speaking of my table and mirror this last Saturday my parents and I went to the Swap meet. I drove down from my apartment which is about 20 min away from my house and got into my parents car and left for the Swap Meet. The main reason to go was to see how cheap the dining tables were so Matt and I could finish furnishing our new beautiful place. I saw the perfect table and my parents were nice enough to buy it for us as a house warming gift. After that purchase my mother said I needed some kind of mirror to put behind the table and that she would get that for us also. I told her that was ok and she didn't need to buy our table and a mirror for us but she insisted. It was kinda funny cause when I was looking for a mirror I was looking at the one I wanted and then I turned my head and saw a kid in one of those wooden wagons that you can rent at the swap meet, and then I looked back at my mirror and then it hit me! That little boy was ERIK, Matt's cousin haha. I looked around and saw Alma and gave her a hug and she said she was looking at the same mirror I was for her bathroom. I said Hi to Eric and as always he had his finger in his mouth and smiled he looked so cute! What are the odds I'd see the two of them. On the way back we ate at the TMP and had Pick Up Stix it was so good. Matthew doesn't really care for Chinese food so when I get a chance I eat it. As we were driving back to my parents house up Jamboree we saw a lot of smoke from the fires. We got home and everything was ok but no sooner than I walked through the front door Matthew called and said right behind his apartment complex he works for is on fire and that he was on his way over to my parents cause everyone was evacuating. I don't remember much cause I was just happy he was ok. As we were waiting for him we turned on the news and the fires were going crazy. It started in Corona, and moved down to Yorba Linda and Anaheim Hills area. Of coarse we move a week ago to Corona and now there's a fire. Our community was ok. It was not close to the fires, but we stayed at my parents house sat night due to the closed freeways and then we stayed Sunday night cause we weren't sure how traffic was going to be trying to get to school today. Anyways, Matthew got back ok and he smelt worse than a fire pit. On the news they were closing the 241, 91, 57, and 60 freeways. About 10-20 minutes after Matthew got back his complex was on fire! It was crazy! It burned about 50-60 apartments. We felt so bad. Sunday Matt got called in to help those people who lived at the community and when he told those people whose apartment burned come would cry and some got really angry. For those that didn't burn down most were green tagged so they were able to stay last night. Now it's Monday and although I'm sad for those without homes, I'm happy for what I have and will be getting in the next few days. It's kinda funny this all happened around Thanksgiving. It's the Holiday to be thankful for something. I'm thankful for my wonderful Husband and our families that we get to see and create wonderful memories with. :)

Pink & Black

Yesterday I was bored and homework wasn't an option, so I went to Joann Fabrics looking for a project that I could work on. I found a No-Sew Fleece Throw and I thought that would be fun to make. Basically you cut squares off each corner, then cut the edges to tie together. It took me a few hours with some breaks but it was fun to make. The lady at the store was right when she said,"once you make one, you're going to want to make more." My hands are a tiny bit sore from the scissors but I just need to get sharper scissors next time I go. If you're reading this KAYLI then you know I want to make you one just so you can have one and because I want to make another one. Here is the throw I made for myself and with the extra fabric from the squares I cut off I made a scarf but it's really small so I put it on my dog.

LOVE IS....... when a pumpkin melts your heart

Sunday I went to a Pumpkin Patch festival with my family down near Yucaipa. It was really fun and I can't wait to have kids so I can take them there. It had a huge field full of pumpkins that you cut from the vine. I wanted a big pumpkin this year and as you can see I got one and 2 baby pumpkins lol. I forgot my camera lol so I don't have any pictures from the festival, but I took one this morning so you can see how big it is. The festival had 2 petting zoos, pony rides, hay stack ride, quad rides, and 2 bouncers. There were so many kids and babies it really makes me want one! lol After the pumpkin patch we went to the Apple Festival about 20 min down the street. That was really fun also, but we never got to the part to pick apples off a tree. They had a lot of stores and places to eat, so after trying to look for the trees to pick apples off we ate some country BBQ food and we had enough of the whole apple picking thing so we came home. :) Every time I go downstairs I hug my pumpkin lol because it feels so good for some reason. It's exactly my arms length when I wrap around it. I love my pumpkin!

Too Early for New Years Resolution?

I have been a member of Snap Fitness for about 6 months. I have an on and off relationship with my gym, but this last Monday I decided to go back for good. I have lots and lots of time on my hands and I realized it is time to get into shape! Monday night I went and started out on the treadmill. I have an ipod, so I set it on shuffle and set the clock for 40 min while I was watching TBS on the TV. At the end of my 40 min I burned just a little over 200 calories. It felt great! I went Tuesday skipped Wednesday and went again today. After Tuesday my legs felt sore so I let them rest for a day. I decided to go Monday thru Friday for 40 min and if I have to miss a day that's ok. Today I set the speed a little higher and I burned 310 calories after 40 min. I feel really good and I seem to have more energy. The only bad thing about working out it that its really boring, so I'm just going to stay positive and try my hardest to keep going. I don't care to lose weight, I just want to get toned and be healthy. Hopefully it works out!

Don't give up HOPE

Last Friday, Oct. 3rd, my 15 year old cousin was involved in a hit-n-run. Within minutes after her mom dropped both her and her younger sister Angelique off on a corner across from a High School football game, Arianna was hit. She didn't break anything, but her skull was greatly swollen and has gone through a couple of surgeries to alleviate the pressure. The doctor took out a blood clot the size of a golf ball and has now found something wrong with her heart. Although she has opened her eyes, she is still at risk in every possible way. Please pray for her!

Ducks VS Kings

On Tuesday our old friend John, from BBB, called us up and asked if we wanted to go to a Hockey game because he had an extra ticket and we could get another and have a good time. We said sure, why not. Matthew and I have been together for...... well........ 6 years now, and we have not enjoyed each others company at a Hockey game. It was Ducks vs Kings, which is funny cause the last time I went to a Hockey game about 10 years ago it was Ducks vs Kings and it went into overtime so we left cause me and my brother were tired. Even though its pre-season it was a good game. Within about 5 min. that the game started there was a fight haha I forgot how much fun those were to watch. All in all there were about 2-3 fights. It was 1 to 1 for a while but in the 2ND period, somehow the Kings were able to get lucky with a shot so it became 2 to 1. Finally in the 3rd period the Ducks scored and the game ended with a tie 2 to 2. Here I was 10 years later with a tied game. The only difference was that I am now 22 and not tired. The clock showed 5 min for the overtime period. Then, with only 1 min and 30 seconds left the Ducks scored and won the game 3 to 2. Personally, I like both the Kings and the Ducks, but since the Ducks are our home team I was on their side. Have you ever done something a long time ago and many years later your doing it and you say to yourself, who would have thought.............. Well after the game that popped into my head. Who would have thought 10 years later I'd be coming back to Ducks vs Kings game at 22 with my Husband who is also my bestest friend and with our other friends that we didn't even know back then. We didn't even know each other existed. I don't know....... I think about that sometimes. Another funny thing happened at the game. My cousin Phillip, that I went to Vegas for this last weekend, called me in the 2nd period and asked where I was. I told him that I was at a Hockey game and he said, yeah me too. Lol I was like what! He told me where he was sitting and he was on the lower level in a suite that his friends uncle had. He was 2 levels lower than I, and we both were on opposite ends of the goal. At half time he walked up and we hugged and said long time no see. Lol it was crazy we had both went to the game that night. I asked how he knew I was there and he said he saw on Myspace that I wrote I was going to a Hockey game, and that he called me as soon as he got there. Him and his friend were out at dinner and his friend called his uncle and he said I have to ticket to the game tonight so they popped on over. It was a good surprise. Oh if anyone ever goes to Hockey game always eat before you get there. Our food, no joke, was $30 for 2 burgers and 2 fries and 2 drinks at Carls Jr. yeah it was crazy expensive. We didn't have time to eat and we didn't think it would be that bad, but now we know! Oh and parking was only $5 it was a good deal. We parked across the street from the Honda Center, you half to walk but its not a bad walk. Last night was a lot of fun!

Two girls raced each other after the 1st period up and down the ice rink in these balls. It was funny. They looked like hamsters. Those girls in black pants were the ice shoveler's. After every so many min. it would be a time out and the girls would collect the excess ice on the rink for the hockey players.

That's me and Will we sat in his season seats that were higher than our friend Johns seats. In the other pic its my cousins friend Reed. He is standing in his precious suite. They invited us down there, but we didn't want to be rude to our friends. Any seat in the Honda center is good in Matt's and my opinion. This Blimp came out every now and then dropping coupons or something. It was cute haha. Phillip and Reed sat at the top after the white part on the left in between the 3rd and 2ND set of stairs from the right.

Nana Girl 1995-2008

Today was one, among many, the worst day ever. :( My oldest dog Nana was born in 1995 and has not been doing so well the last couple of days, so this morning we had to put her down. Just thinking about it makes me tear up. She was an amazing dog! She was very playful, loving, and a great snuggler. She was an awesome mother to her puppies. She loved everyone! She would make so many friends everywhere she went. A couple of her favorite things to do were to play tug-of-war with socks, and feel the nice breeze out the drivers window. She really loved that! :( I'm really going to miss the way she would bark when someone gets home so she can get her treat. She is only a memory now. A memory that would lay out in the sunlight on the warm cement with the other puppies. A memory that I will hold in my heart forever. I love you Nana Girl!

Recital Graphic

My Photoshop class got canceled and I decided to keep the book so I can teach myself how to create graphics. This is my first one I did from scratch. It's not impressive and it's just a copy out of the book to help me learn, but hopefully soon I will be able to create my own graphics and get better. I really like Photoshop! It's so crazy how many different tools you can use to create so many things.

Exhuasting Weekend

This weekend was a very exhausting weekend. On Friday, Matthew and I drove to San Diego after he got out of work, so we didn't even get there until 8:15. The reason why we drove out there was to download Adobe Creative Suite Premium CS3 that will help me out very much with my computer classes for Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Flash. Now all of my teachers are using CS3 software and Office 2007. I do not like being at school when I don't have to be in class and to go and sit in the Lab just because they use the newest software just sucks. I want to just go home after class and work on my projects at my own convenience. We didn't leave San Diego until 10:30 and the stuff didn't download all the way so we brought it with us and we didn't get home until a little after midnight. As soon as we got home we kicked off our shoes and went to bed. On Saturday I was going to drive up to Palm Springs to surprise my mother for her Birthday weekend, even though her Birthday is really on Monday. I got up at around 7:30 and left the house by about 8:20. Matthew had to work so he didn't go with me. It was our first time apart since we've been married. I drove the hour and half there and it was a nice drive. It was nice to sing along with music and soak up the solitude I had with myself. It's very relaxing. I got to Palm Springs at 10:00 and it was 113 degrees. The second I got out of my car I was sweating. Thank goodness the rooms had air conditioners. My mom, dad and there two friends Bud and Carol were there in the pool when I got there. It was a weekend with the adults and it was fun, but I hate it when you always see couples everywhere you go. This was that kind of time. I was the odd man out and couples were everywhere. It made me feel good to look down at my ring and know that I have someone who loves me for me. It was a re-assurance that I had someone waiting for me at home. The day was fun. We went to a casino Agua Caliente and gambled a little bit and lost. Then we went back to the El Rancho Lodge and relaxed out by the pool. Later we got ready and went out to eat some mexican food, listened to music outside the Hyatt Hotel and kicked back until the singer was gone. We got back to our Lodge and went to bed at 11:30. Sunday I woke up at 6:15 and left Palm Springs at 6:30 and I was home by 8. It was a nice morning. The sun was just coming out and the sky was beautiful. Had I not been driving I would have taken a picture. I got home and since Matthew was home, Precious was sleeping with him all night. We have an air conditioner in our room and it's hard to hear, so I walked in the house and into my room and they were both still sleeping. I turned of the air and then Matthew got scared at first and Precious wiggled out of the blankets to greet me. It was nice to see his face again. I took nap today and yet I'm still very exhausted. It was a fun weekend.

Breann and Michael came down for the Labor Day weekend to celebrate Michaels Birthday. Breann got Rockband for his birthday so we played that last night after dinner at my house. It was really fun and I filmed their first music video. Oh yea, Matthew and I got Michael a hat that he has to wear when he plays the drums so he can be like Kevin from the Ofiice. It was a good night!

Colorful Me

I dyed my hair soft black. I really like it!

In Photoshop class

Ok so last night I went to my Dreamweaver with Flash class and it looks like it's going to be really fun. I can't wait to start on my final project. I get to create a website with cool effects. My teacher seems really cool and the 3 hours went by really fast. Right now I'm in my Photoshop class and my teacher said just go ahead and play on the computer till everyone gets here. She seems really cool also. I'm really excited to learn photoshop and apply it to my website that I'm going to make in my other class. The best thing about making my website is that I can do whatever I want! I think I might make it look like a photography website like Johnson Photography and put my wedding pictures up so it will look professional. I don't know it's just a thought. I still have plenty of time to choose what I want my site to be about. I'm a hands on learner and when I wanted to make a dvd for my parents wedding anniversary I had to learn a new software in 2 weeks and it was very time consuming but I did it and it turned out really good for what I had to work with. I'm sure these classes are going to be easy because I'm a very creative person and I pay very close to detail when it come to this stuff. Happy Friday!

2nd School Day

Ashley wants to join my art class in the mornings. I said, "great!" The unfortunate part is that Ashley did not decide to join until after my first meeting. We will have to see this morning if she will be able to get her foot in the door. I think that we'll be alright, but you just never know. I'm hungry. Let me eat now!

First Day of School & Matthew :)

Is it to early to say I'm over it! haha just kidding! Well, not really, but it could be worse. I'm taking Human Sexuality, Kickboxing, Powerpoint, Dreamweaver with Flash, and Adobe Photoshop. It's going to be an interesting semester. I love Powerpoint and I can't wait to learn Dreamweaver and Photoshop. I'm going to try to get into Art and drop Human Sexuality because this morning I really missed my husband and I suddenly had an epiphany to drop my class and get into his. We do everything together, and 2 heads are better than one. To be honest, I get better grades when we take the same classes. He really pushes me to be a better student, which is one of the many reasons why I love him so much. :) Not saying I do horrible without him by my side, but he makes everything more fun because he is just so great. He is at school right now and I miss him. I don't know what I'd do without my Matthew. It's funny cause ever since I was about 8 or so I always had a queen size bed. I always slept in the middle because of monsters of course, and I thought it would be a really big deal when I got married because I would have to sleep on the side. Turns out, I still get to sleep in the middle. :) Half of my bed is against the wall and he sleeps on that side and he gives me all the space I need. I really feel bad, so I try to sleep as far as I can on the side of the bed but not to far that something can pull my leg down. I know I probably sound stupid but I've seen scary movies and I know what could happen. We get scared. We always talk about an old white haired lady. haha. We freak ourselves out. Anyways, as much as I really like sleeping in the middle, the few nights that we have spent apart, I realized that I'd rather sleep on the side of the bed than sleep alone. I guess that's love. I love him enough to sleep on the side with the monsters. :)

Movie Critic - Lars and The Real Girl

I went to go visit Matthew for his lunch one day and we went into Blockbuster to rent The Scarlet Letter. We rented that and we saw that Blockbuster was having a buy 3 for $20. We always act on these offers, so got about 9 movies. Good Luck Chuck (Dane Cook and Jessica Alba), The Heartbreak Kid (Ben Stiller), In the Name of the King (Jason Statham aka Transporter), Lars and The Real Girl (Ryan Gosling), License to Wed (Mandy Moore, John Krasinski, Robin Williams), Semi-Pro (Will Farrell), The Spiderwick Chronicles (no one really famous), Sydney White (Amanda Bynes), 3:10 to Yuma (Christian Bale and Russell Crow). Yeah we got a lot! The only two we had already seen were License to Wed and 3:10 to Yuma, so we saved to watch those movies last. Out of all the movies the one's that stuck out the most were In the name of the king, Sydney White, and Lars and The Real Girl. Out of those three, to our surprise the best one was Lars and The Real Girl. It looks so stupid but its really cute and funny. Ryan Gosling plays a unusual character and he seems to be a shy guy when it comes to this one live girl. It's funny because it's a small town and Lars (Ryan Gosling) sends for this doll like girl who is really ment for sexual purposes haha but he treats her like she is really alive. The whole town is very supportive and actually ask's Lars if she would like to participate in the town's volunteer activities haha. It's not a Batman Dark Night, but it's a good movie. Oh yeah, the worst movie was Semi-Pro! It was really dumb!

Movie Critic - The Golden Compass

Matthew and I rented The Golden Compass. My parents weren't home so we thought we'd get a happy movie. Scary movies are not fun when we're alone. It really freaks us out :). Anyways, the movie was decent. I mean the effects were really cool and we like movies like that, but in terms of the storyline the Chronicles of Narnia was way better. We did enjoy this movie and obviously there will be a second, but it was hard to really comprehend the story, and for a kid we can see how they wouldn't understand this movie at all. In the movie they talk about dust and supposedly it isn't a good thing. There is more to it but since we didn't really fully understand the movie it's hard to explain. Haha. It's weird. I really like how they have demons by their side. Their demon is an animal of some sort that acts as their souls. It's a neat idea. If something happens to their demon then that's what happens to the human. The bear was our favorite character, however, he doesn't have a demon. Maybe cause he is already an animal he doesn't have one, I don't know. Regardless, we love his voice and the way he talks. He is so cute! Anyways out of 10, 1 meaning horrible waste of 2 hours, 5 meaning good not great, 10 meaning the best. I would give it a 5. Now we have to watch the second one when they come out with it because, although the movie ends, it ends in the middle of the story. It's a to wait to see it on TV kind of movie. Good thing we rent our movies through Redbox because it only cost us $1.08.

We went to Disneyland for Matthew's Birthday and we had a blast! We were there for about 12 hours and we were super tired. The Buzz Lightyear ride is highly recommended. Well, all of the rides are great, but the Buzz ride lets you shoot a laser gun. Yeah, it was a good day!

FYI we do not know this guy. After we took the picture and got off the ride we saw that he had leaned in and smiled. It was the laugh of the day! We think he looks a little like Kevin Nealon.
